Yolo Unity Bar
The Unity Bar of Yolo County (aka Yolo Unity Bar) is in the early stages of building a network of diverse organizations, associations, and legal professionals dedicated to working together in a unified manner to advance the cause of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession.
Our goal is to advance issues of importance to diverse attorneys, organizations, and specialty bar associations; to speak with one voice; and, through unity, to amplify and support our voices.
We are diverse lawyers who work, live, or practice law in Yolo County. Emulating similar Unity Bar organizations in Sacramento County, the Central Valley, Orange County, Kern County, Merced County, San Luis Obispo County, San Joaquin County, Santa Barbara County, and Tulare County, we are proud to announce that there is now a Yolo Unity Bar!
Letters of Support
Yolo Unity Bar has joined other Unity Bar organizations in sending joint letters of support to the Commission on Judicial Appointments (COJA).
Our letters to COJA have expressed united support for the appointment of Justice Kelli Evans to the Supreme Court of California; Justice Gonzalo Martinez to the Second District Court of Appeal, Division Seven; and Justice Aimee Feinberg to the Third District Court of Appeal.
